I am a third year Fashion design student. For my finial year I have been given the opportunity to write and design my own brief to form a graduate collection, along with a body of digital work to compliment it, consisting from research and development all the way to looking into range plans and technical construction of garments.

For my brief I set myself the challenge of designing a 70s/80s based power collection. This is the catalyst I needed to kick start my research into the shapes and silhouettes of the 70s and 80s, in which I then chose to combine with eccentric maximalism interior design, to create and explosion of bold colours and trims.

Being able to design my own brief has really bought me out of my shell as a designer and shown me my true passion and my own design style, putting me in a really good position going forward, looking into working in the design industry.

Rwy’n fyfyriwr dylunio Ffasiwn yn fy nhrydedd flwyddyn. Ar gyfer fy mlwyddyn olaf, rwyf wedi cael cyfle i ysgrifennu a dylunio fy mriff fy hun i ffurfio casgliad graddedigion, ynghyd â chorff o waith digidol i’w ganmol, yn cynnwys ymchwil a datblygu yr holl ffordd i edrych i mewn i gynlluniau ystod ac adeiladu technegol. o ddillad.

Ar gyfer fy mriff, gosodais yr her i mi fy hun o ddylunio casgliad pŵer wedi’i seilio ar y 70au/80au. Dyma’r catalydd yr oeddwn ei angen i roi cychwyn ar fy ymchwil i siapiau a silwetau’r 70au a’r 80au, lle dewisais wedyn gyfuno â dyluniad mewnol uchafsymiol ecsentrig, i greu a ffrwydro lliwiau a thrimiau beiddgar.

Mae gallu dylunio fy mriff fy hun wedi fy mhrynu allan o fy nghragen fel dylunydd ac wedi dangos i mi fy gwir angerdd a fy arddull ddylunio fy hun, gan fy rhoi mewn sefyllfa dda iawn wrth symud ymlaen, gan edrych i mewn i weithio yn y diwydiant dylunio.
