I am a printmaker, working mostly through screen print and lino, as well as experimenting with other techniques and mixed media. I like to reflect on both serious issues in the world and random thoughts or daydreams in a humorous way that reflects my approach to life. My work often doesn’t make sense however some prints carry a deeper message, leaving the viewers to interpret it themselves in a humorous way. A lot of my images are born from experimenting, taking inspiration from absorbing life around me and from research in topics such as esotericism. I often use bright, loud colours. I want to shout to everyone that we need to live our life, be brave and enjoy. There is no time to be grey!

Gwneuthurwr printiau ydw i, yn gweithio’n bennaf drwy brintio sgrin a leino, yn ogystal ag arbrofi gyda thechnegau eraill a chyfryngau cymysg. Rwy’n hoffi myfyrio ynghylch materion difrifol y byd ac ynghylch meddyliau ar hap neu freuddwydion liw dydd, a hynny mewn ffordd ddigrif sy’n adlewyrchu fy agwedd tuag at fywyd. Yn aml, dydy fy ngwaith ddim yn gwneud synnwyr, ond mae neges ddyfnach mewn rhai printiau, ac mae’r gwylwyr yn cael penrhyddid i’w dehongli eu hunain mewn ffordd ddigrif. Mae llawer o fy nelweddau yn tarddu o arbrofi, wedi’i ysbrydoli gan ymateb i fywyd o’m cwmpas a gan ymchwil i bynciau fel esoteriaeth. Rwy’n aml yn defnyddio lliwiau llachar, beiddgar. Rydw i eisiau gweiddi ar bawb bod angen i ni fyw ein bywydau, bod yn ddewr a mwynhau. Does dim amser i fod yn llwyd!

My work explores the relationship between a space and the art in it. I have become intrigued by how a painting can effect a space, exploring corporate art, it can be used to influence productivity and creativity in that environment. With influence from Colour Theory,...

We have never been so connected yet so alone. The internet has become integral to our daily lives, no element of our existence seems untouched by it. But have we been caught and paralysed in the web? We are constantly on display and exposed, yet anonymous. We seem to...

My work is currently exploring texture and abstraction, with acrylic paint being my main medium through the repetitive motion of building layers. I am presently experimenting with wallpaper and plaster, by layering through a variety of applications, such as sanding,...

I would describe my art as confessional; I take inspiration from my life events and feelings surrounding these experiences, I translate this through my work. I see my practice as a portal from my life in which I can lose myself and explore the deepest truths of my...

I have recently been exploring ideas related to the home and memory, and how they form identity. I am interested in how to defy the imperative to follow a linear structure in personal narrative and instead look for a more honest depiction of memory, which is itself...
