Ania Draus

BA (Hons) Textiles

Ania Draus is a Surface Pattern Designer and Natural Dyer. She loves using acrylic paint and we can see a lot of evidence of it in her designs. She has lived her life close to the nature and the nature was always her biggest inspiration. Ania can see human world and universe as a pattern full of mathematics and symmetry. Natural geometrical patterns have become her second source of inspiration. She considers herself as a big lover of colours, which makes her designs rich in colourful motives and patterns.

Ania’s collection is intended for the home interior. She has chosen home interior as her collection target, because home is a place where people can be themselves, where they should feel safe and relaxed. Ania’s inspiration for her collection is the garden during hot summer nights from her past. Ania’s collection concept is to bring this beautiful memories of the night garden indoors to create positive influence on customers lives and their mental health. Her designs create relaxing, vibrant and natural experiences in customer’s living spaces. Ania’s aim is to help people to reconnect with nature without leaving their house.

Dylunydd Patrymau Arwyneb a Lliwydd Naturiol yw Ania Draus. Mae hi’n hoff o ddefnyddio paent acrylig, sydd i’w weld yn helaeth yn ei dyluniadau. Mae hi wedi byw bywyd yn agos at natur, a natur fu ei hysbrydoliaeth fwyaf erioed. Mae Ania’n gallu gweld y byd dynol a’r bydysawd fel patrwm llawn mathemateg a chymesuredd. Mae patrymau geometregol naturiol wedi dod yn ail ffynhonnell o ysbrydoliaeth iddi. Mae hi’n ystyried ei hunan fel rhywun sy’n hoff iawn o liwiau, sy’n golygu bod ei phatrymau’n gyfoeth o gymhellion a phatrymau lliwgar.

Dyluniadau addurn cartref yw bwriad casgliad Ania. Mae hi wedi dewis addurn y cartref fel targed ei chasgliad gan ei bod yn teimlo bod y cartref yn lle y gall pobl fod yn nhw eu hunain, lle dylen nhw deimlo’n ddiogel ac wedi ymlacio. Yr ardd yn ystod nosweithiau poeth hafau ei gorffennol oedd yr ysbrydoliaeth i gasgliad Ania. Cysyniad casgliad Ania yw dod â’r atgofion hyfryd yma o’r ardd gyda’r hwyr i mewn i’r tŷ, er mwyn cael dylanwad cadarnhaol ar fywydau cwsmeriaid a’u hiechyd meddwl. Mae ei dyluniadau’n creu profiadau ymlaciol, bywiog a naturiol yng ngofodau byw cwsmeriaid. Nod Ania yw helpu pobl i ailgysylltu â natur heb adael eu tai.
