My focus has always been on womenswear and textile manipulation. I love claiming the cloth and making it my own. I have previously done lots of natural dye inspired by my trip to India. Sustainability has always been important to me when designing garments and therefore most of the fabrics I have used to create my pom poms are scraps, curtains and fabrics I already had.

I have always wanted to make my garments very wearable and something I could see on the high street, as a sustainable alternative. My designs are always very feminine with soft, flowing fabrics. I have decided to do my collection Head in the Clouds because I think this reflects me as a designer and allows me to use my skills to my advantage. I hope my collection is beautiful and impactful as it will be all white and I hope it reflects clouds clearly.

Yr wyf bob amser wedi canolbwyntio ar ddillad menywod a thrin tecstiliau. Rwyf wrth fy modd yn hawlio a meddianu’r brethyn. Rwyf wedi gwneud llawer o liwio naturiol o’r blaen wedi’i ysbrydoli gan fy nhaith i India. Mae cynaliadwyedd bob amser wedi bod yn bwysig i mi wrth ddylunio dillad ac felly mae’r rhan fwyaf o’r ffabrigau rwyf wedi’u defnyddio i greu fy mhom poms yn sgrapiau, llenni a ffabrigau a oedd gennyf eisoes. Yr wyf bob amser wedi bod eisiau gwneud fy nillad yn wisgadwy ac yn rhywbeth y gallwn ei weld ar y stryd fawr, fel dewis amgen cynaliadwy.

Mae fy nyluniadau bob amser yn fenywaidd iawn gyda ffabrigau meddal sy’n llifo. Rwyf wedi penderfynu gwneud fy nghasgliad ‘Head in the Clouds’ oherwydd rwy’n credu bod hyn yn adlewyrchiad ohona i fel dylunydd ac yn caniatáu i mi fanteisio ar ddefnyddio fy sgiliau. Rwy’n gobeithio bod fy nghasgliad yn hardd ac yn effeithiol gan y bydd y cyfan yn wyn ac rwy’n gobeithio y bydd yn adlewyrchu cymylau’n glir.
