Bethany Harris

BA (Hons) Artist Designer Maker

From Sketch to Stitch

Beth Harris works primarily with textiles to create a unique range of surface pattern designs.

Her work is heavily influenced by surfaces and textures within nature, paying particular attention to linear forms. She abstracts and reinterprets images to create original designs which vary in texture, material and colour.

Working with a combination of traditional and new technologies including; digital stitch, free machine embroidery, hand stitching and needle felting, Beth’s work is both innovative and contemporary.
