In my work, I always strive for balance. A balance between aesthetics and functionality, between design and architecture, between my professional identity and the client’s identity. Interior design is an art form, so when it’s created for someone specifically, it always needs to encompass the soul of both people – the creator and the consumer. For each project, I choose a theme that would bring meaning to the world and carry my personal mark. I am inspired by history and people, which allows me to create spaces that take lessons from the past while looking forward to the future. I wish to live in a world where people accept the importance of interior design and don’t see it as just “decorating”. Instead, they see that each project has a soul, a life, a goal, and most importantly, is someone’s dream fulfilled. Because this is what interior design is for me.
This is the philosophy that I am implementing into my final project, “Bee House” – A Hive House Apitherapy vacation village. This project looks to fill a gap in the apitherapy health industry while helping to resolve problems like bee extinction. It is also creating jobs for self-employed beekeepers and creating a market for natural bee products. In this project, I have created an architectural structure using shipping containers while keeping in mind the functionality and aesthetics of the interior spaces, aiming to build a perfect experience.
Yn fy ngwaith, rydw i’n ymdrechu am gydbwysedd bob amser. Cydbwysedd rhwng estheteg ac ymarferoldeb, rhwng dylunio a phensaernïaeth, rhwng fy hunaniaeth broffesiynol a hunaniaeth y cleient. Mae dylunio mewnol yn gelfyddyd, felly pan fydd wedi’i greu ar gyfer rhywun yn benodol, mae angen iddo ymgorffori enaid y ddau berson bob amser – y crëwr a’r defnyddiwr. Ar gyfer pob prosiect, rwy’n dewis thema a fyddai’n dod ag ystyr i’r byd ac yn dwyn fy marc personol. Rwy’n cael fy ysbrydoli gan hanes a phobl, sy’n caniatáu imi greu mannau sy’n defnyddio gwersi o’r gorffennol wrth edrych ymlaen at y dyfodol. Rwy’n dymuno byw mewn byd lle mae pobl yn derbyn pwysigrwydd dylunio mewnol ac nid yn ei ystyried yn “addurno” yn unig. Yn lle hynny, gwelant fod gan bob prosiect enaid, bywyd, nod, ac yn bwysicaf oll, ei fod yn gwireddu breuddwyd rhywun. Oherwydd dyma beth yw dylunio mewnol i mi.
Dyma’r athroniaeth rydw i’n ei rhoi ar waith yn fy mhrosiect terfynol, “Bee House” – pentref gwyliau Therapi Gwenyn Hive House. Bwriad y prosiect hwn yw llenwi bwlch yn y diwydiant iechyd therapi gwenyn wrth helpu i ddatrys problemau fel difodiant gwenyn. Mae hefyd yn creu swyddi ar gyfer gwenynwyr hunangyflogedig ac yn creu marchnad ar gyfer cynhyrchion gwenyn naturiol. Yn y prosiect hwn, rydw i wedi creu strwythur pensaernïol gan ddefnyddio cynwysyddion cludo wrth gadw ymarferoldeb ac estheteg y gofodau mewnol mewn cof, gyda’r bwriad o greu profiad perffaith.
