Working with a different range of medias, since painting to sculpture and using a variety of materials, my work reflects the interested in the body intimate parts.
Taking primarily my own body as exploration source, I started developing a special interest in the features of the female corporality and exploring them, this interest evolved to the way these features are conceptualized. The relation between woman and the abjection became the central focus of my practise.
These work, is a result of the exploration of that same concept, the abjection.
Considering the close relation between women’s bodies and the abject, I have projected this piece to be a play between the idea of clean and unclean, inner and outer body space, creating a celebration of women’s genital parts.
