My final design collection is inspired by indigenous, aboriginal art and Australia’s natural wildlife. The designs explore my journey through Australia highlighting each significant place as sub categories in my collection, and by following cultural influences of native aborigines, I have channelled my personal experiences into my artwork to tell my story.

The nature and technical side of my designs consist of hand drawn and digitally manipulated iconography, as well as showing a combination of 2D and 3D elements of hand and digital embroidery/stitch, this ensured my work conveys a personal feel as well as a unique style.

Working with a colour palette of soft but vibrant hues, consisting of yellow and orange, accompanied with a contrasting range of greens and blues, the collection will stand out with an element of boldness as well as sophistication. The Indigenous collection is designed for and perfectly suited for alfresco kitchen dining, combined with BBQ scenes to tie in the Australian feel. The collection is aimed for an audience with an appreciation for cultural influences, as well as a lifestyle inspired by global travel.

Ysbrydolwyd fy nghasgliad dylunio terfynol gan gelfyddyd gynfrodorol cynhenid bywyd gwyllt. Mae’r dyluniadau yn cyfleu fy nhaith drwy Awstralia gan amlygu pob man arwyddocaol fel is-gategorïau yn fy nghasgliad a thrwy ddilyn dylanwadau diwylliannol y cynfrodyr brodorol, rwyf wedi sianelu fy mhrofiadau personol i mewn i fy ngwaith celf i adrodd fy stori.

Mae natur ac ochr dechnegol fy nyluniadau yn cynnwys iconograffiaeth a ddyluniwyd â llaw ac a gafodd eu trin yn ddigidol, yn ogystal â dangos cyfuniad o elfennau 2D a 3D o frodwaith/pwythau llaw a digidol ac roedd hynny’n sicrhau bod fy ngwaith yn cyfleu teimlad personol yn ogystal ag arddull unigryw.

O weithio gyda lliwiau meddal ond lliwgar yn cynnwys melyn ac oren yn ogystal â gwyrdd a glas, bydd y casgliad yn sefyll allan gydag elfen o hyfdra yn ogystal â soffistigeiddrwydd. Lluniwyd y casgliad brodorol ar gyfer bwyta yn yr awyr agored, wedi’i gyfuno â byd BBQ er mwyn cyfleu ffordd o fyw Awstralia. Anelir y casgliad at gynulleidfa sy’n gwerthfawrogi dylanwadau diwylliannol yn ogystal â ffordd o fyw a symbylwyd gan deithio byd-eang.
