BA (Hons) Product Design

I consider myself a highly motivated Designer always prepared for the next challenge. My experience at Cardiff Metropolitan University not only has taught me how to professionally present and execute projects but how to present myself as a professional designer to a future employer.

Every year has taught me something different, especially this academic year where we had to adapt to lockdown rules and learn to work differently, under a lot of pressure and stress due to Covid 19. It has taught me and others to become stronger designers and work through tough circumstances.

I pride myself on being a professional, independent, and efficient designer as well as being a collaborative team player.
I have always been very passionate about art and design since a young age and being part of the product design course has not only inspired me to achieve a career in product design but also to expand my knowledge and skillset onto other paths.

Rwy’n ystyried fy hun yn Ddylunydd cryf iawn fy nghymhelliant sydd bob amser yn barod am yr her nesaf. Mae fy mhrofiad ym Mhrifysgol Metropolitan Caerdydd nid yn unig wedi dysgu i mi sut i gyflwyno a gweithredu prosiectau’n broffesiynol, ond sut i gyflwyno fy hun fel dylunydd proffesiynol i gyflogwr y dyfodol.

Mae bob blwyddyn wedi dysgu rhywbeth newydd i mi, yn enwedig y flwyddyn academaidd hon pan fu’n rhaid i ni ymaddasu i reolau’r cyfnodau clo a dysgu i weithio’n wahanol, o dan lawer o bwysau a straen o ganlyniad i Covid 19. Mae wedi dysgu i mi ac eraill ddod yn ddylunwyr cryfach a gweithio trwy amgylchiadau anodd.

Rwy’n ymfalchïo mewn bod yn ddylunydd proffesiynol, annibynnol ac effeithlon yn ogystal ag yn chwaraewr tîm cydweithredol.
Rwy’n angerddol iawn am gelf a dylunio erioed, ers pan oeddwn yn ifanc, ac mae bod yn rhan o gwrs dylunio cynnyrch nid yn unig wedi f’ysbrydoli i gyflawni gyrfa mewn dylunio cynnyrch ond hefyd i ehangu fy ngwybodaeth a’m set sgiliau i lwybrau eraill.
