My passion has always been storytelling; whether through the writing and construction of film narratives, shaping and informing the viewer through character design, or from illustrating the moving image. Regardless of the medium my interest remains the same, and is still as much a passion for me as the day I started down this route.
Often in my work as an animation student I focus more on the storytelling than the movement or traditional traits of the medium, placing my attention in the moment, and treating each frame as a painting.
Every aspect of the animation enthrals me from start to finish, from concept art all the way to editing and sound mixing. Each point of progression is a stepping stone to shaping the narratives I want to create. Working on this course has given me the opportunity to hone my skills and apply them in ways I never thought I was capable of, and I can’t wait to take them further.

Yn aml yn fy ngwaith fel myfyriwr animeiddio rwy’n canolbwyntio mwy ar adrodd storïau na symudiad neu nodweddion traddodiadol y cyfrwng, gan roi fy sylw yn y foment, a thrin pob ffrâm fel paentiad.
Mae pob agwedd ar yr animeiddiad yn fy nghyfareddu o’r dechrau i’r diwedd, o gelfyddyd gysyniad yr holl ffordd i olygu a chymysgu sain. Mae pob pwynt dilyniant yn gam tuag at lunio’r naratifau yr rwyf eisiau eu creu. Mae gweithio ar y cwrs hwn wedi rhoi’r cyfle i mi fireinio fy sgiliau a’u cymhwyso mewn ffyrdd nad oeddwn erioed wedi meddwl yr oeddent o fewn fy ngallu, ac alla i ddim aros am ddatblygu nhw ymhellach.
