Growing up in the early noughties combined with my cultural influences from growing up in Thailand, has enabled me to surround myself with the blissful joy I associate with Y2K fashion which has a heavy influence on my designer character and outcomes. I consciously design to provoke feelings of euphoria and nostalgia by introducing bright and playful palettes and prints. Along with exploring different textures and senses through children’s crafts and memorabilia. Encouraging adults to reconnect with their inner child to provoke a sense of escapism from the dystopian world we live in. My design philosophy is to create fashion with sentimental value and sustainable awareness.

Mae tyfu i fyny yn ystod y 1990au a’r cyfuniad o ddylanwadau diwylliannol o gael fy magu yng Ngwald Thai, wedi fy ngalluogi i amgylchynu fy hun â’r hapusrwydd dedwydd rwy’n ei gysylltu â ffasiwn Y2K sydd wedi bod yn ddylanwad mawr ar fy nghymeriad a’m cynnyrch fel dylunydd. Rwy’n dylunio’n ymwybodol er mwyn ysgogi teimladau o ewfforia a nostalgia drwy gyflwyno palet a phrintiau llachar a chwareus. Yn ogystal ag archwilio gweadau a synhwyrau gwahanol drwy gyfrwng crefftau a phethau cofiadwy o fyd plant. Annog oedolion i ailgysylltu â’r plentyn o’u mewn er mwyn ennyn ymdeimlad o ddianc rhag y byd dystopaidd rydyn ni’n byw ynddo. Fy athroniaeth ddylunio yw creu ffasiwn ag iddo werth sentimental ac ymwybyddiaeth gynaliadwy.
