A Fleeting Moment

Jessica grew up in Bridgend, a town surrounded by the rural valleys. She takes inspiration from her local landscape, pairing this with the rich indulgent style of Victorian and Edwardian decoration to create delicate, and embellished pieces.

Jessica is an admirer of nature’s delicacy. Intricacy, pattern and organic decoration are the significant values of her work. These aesthetics resonate within her body of work, as she portrays the fragility and transitory merits held within flora.

Jessica’s work captures a fleeting moment. Depicting the beauty of nature’s fragility and ethereal essence. It holds the passing splendor of a life cycle rather than offering answers.
