BA (Hons) Artist Designer Maker

Light Trails

As a designer, I work with contemporary lighting products and have an interested in increasing the interaction between the user and the object, therefore as my lights are handled by the user my material choice and craftsmanship are key elements of my work. My current work was developed by investigating the theoretical concept of light and its physical properties. An initial interest into light particle theory evolved into how light can be manipulated when encountering a highly reflective surface, this has also influenced my choice of materials.
