Your Data Your Choice is a campaign that draws its inspiration from the Cambridge Analytica scandal which depicted a large company taking advantage of the unknowing masses through a popular social media website. Your Data Your Choice brings awareness to such issues as privacy online and promotes anonymity as a safe way to continue with normal life on the internet. It highlights on giving young people the reasons to stay anonymous online and focuses on how they should achieve it. As a result, the campaign is heavily information based and focuses on spreading relevant information regarding the topics to young people who may need it. Due to the younger audience and topic of the campaign, Your Data Your Choice is online based so its easily accessible for those who frequently use the internet. Overall, the campaign should be a talking point for the younger audience in internet security and anonymity online. The aim is to make others aware of what we post online and how that may come back to affect us.
