I am a 24-year-old Fashion Design student based in Cardiff.

Working predominately with menswear fashion & sportswear design however, with aspirations to advance my design repertoire into more diverse areas. My design work is an extension of myself as I try to embody my personal characteristics & understanding through my output.
This portfolio of work follows a contemporary vision in a traditional aesthetic. I strive to explore historical moments of inspiration to create an authentic design style that is individual to myself. I focus my energy towards creating a balanced area between functionality & concept to build a narrative of design that draws from my personal experiences.

The graduate collection itself takes inspiration from British subcultures spanning a range of 30 years. Using art, social class, architecture, music & fashion I have enriched my design and created new garments and silhouettes that appear as timeless contemporary. The practicality of the work is that it does not follow a trend & has a broad capacity that enables me to revisit, expand as well as refine the work as I process past graduate level.

The Queensberry Design work documents the commercial success found through the creation of bespoke fight kits for professional fighters. Working on a one-to-one basis with clients and development plans of expansion into product.

Rwy’n fyfyriwr Dylunio Ffasiwn 24 oed yng Nghaerdydd.

Rwy’n gweithio’n bennaf gyda ffasiwn dynion a dylunio dillad chwaraeon, gyda dyheadau i ddatblygu fy repertoire dylunio yn feysydd mwy amrywiol. Mae fy ngwaith dylunio yn estyniad ohonof fy hun wrth i mi geisio ymgorffori fy nodweddion personol a’m dealltwriaeth drwy fy allbwn.

Mae’r portffolio hwn o waith yn dilyn gweledigaeth gyfoes mewn estheteg traddodiadol. Rwy’n ymdrechu i archwilio adegau hanesyddol o ysbrydoliaeth i greu arddull ddylunio ddilys sy’n unigol i mi fy hun. Rwy’n canolbwyntio fy egni tuag at greu maes cytbwys rhwng ymarferoldeb a chysyniad i adeiladu naratif dylunio sy’n deillio o’m profiadau personol.

Ysbrydolir y casgliad graddedig ei hun gan isddiwylliannau Prydeinig sy’n rhychwantu ystod o 30 mlynedd. Gan ddefnyddio celf, dosbarth cymdeithasol, pensaernïaeth, cerddoriaeth a ffasiwn rwyf wedi cyfoethogi fy nylunio ac wedi creu dillad a silwetau newydd sy’n ymddangos yn gyfoes amserol. Ymarferoldeb y gwaith yw nad yw’n dilyn tuedd ac mae ganddo allu eang sy’n fy ngalluogi i ailymweld, ehangu yn ogystal â mireinio’r gwaith wrth i mi brosesu heibio lefel graddedig.

Mae gwaith Queensberry Design yn dogfennu’r llwyddiant masnachol a ganfuwyd drwy greu pecynnau ymladd pwrpasol ar gyfer ymladdwyr proffesiynol. Gweithio ar sail un-i-un gyda chleientiaid a chynlluniau datblygu i ehangu i gynnyrch.
