The reason for creating my pieces of jewellery is to show my individuality and it allows me to become part of other peoples life stories. The influence of my work is about repurposing materials which I found challenging, e.g., old copper water tanks and old silver cutlery.

All of my jewellery designs and materials are made from recycled materials and designed and based from everyday objects which are no longer used for the purpose they were designed for.

The reason I create pieces of jewellery is because it allows me to become a part of other people’s stories and my work will soon become a part of someone’s history. A piece of jewellery that one wears gives a statement about what kind person they are and what they value.

Y rheswm dros greu fy narnau o emwaith yw dangos fy hunaniaeth ac mae’n rhoi cyfle i mi ddod yn rhan o straeon bywyd pobl eraill. Mae’r dylanwad ar fy ngwaith yn ymwneud ag ailddefnyddio deunyddiau oedd yn her i mi, e.e. hen danciau dŵr copr a hen gyllyll a ffyrc arian.

Mae holl ddyluniadau a deunyddiau fy ngemwaith wedi’u gwneud o ddeunyddiau wedi’u hailgylchu a dwi’n eu dylunio a’u seilio ar wrthrychau bob dydd nad ydynt yn cael eu defnyddio at y diben y cawsant eu cynllunio ar eu cyfer mwyach.

Y rheswm pam dwi’n creu darnau o emwaith yw oherwydd ei fod yn rhoi cyfle i mi ddod yn rhan o straeon pobl eraill a chyn hir bydd fy ngwaith yn dod yn rhan o hanes rhywun. Mae darn o emwaith y mae rhywun yn ei wisgo yn gwneud datganiad am y math o berson ydyn nhw a beth sydd o werth iddyn nhw.
