We have never been so connected yet so alone. The internet has become integral to our daily lives, no element of our existence seems untouched by it. But have we been caught and paralysed in the web? We are constantly on display and exposed, yet anonymous. We seem to be both shouting and mute, intertwined and fragmented all at once.

Using a combination of sound, enclosed space, and figurative drawings in soft pastel on paper my work is an expression of my unease in this virtual world.

Dydyn ni erioed wedi bod mor gysylltiedig ac eto gymaint ar ein pen ein hunain. Mae’r rhyngrwyd wedi dod yn rhan ganolog o’n bywydau bob dydd, ac nid oes unrhyw elfen o’n bodolaeth heb ei gyffwrdd ganddi. Ond ydyn ni wedi ein dal a’n parlysu yn y we?

Drwy ddefnyddio cyfuniad o sŵn, gofod cyfyngedig, a delweddau ffigurol mewn pastel medal ar bapur, mae fy ngwaith yn fynegiad o fy anesmwythyd yn y byd rhithiol hwn.

Non-linear narratives such as unreliable memories, leaky dreams and deja vu are a central reference within my practice. I address the structure of these forms of narrative using repetition, replication and iterations of time. My work is largely sculptural, using...

Exploring the fragmentation of memory through the physicality of found objects and the spoken word, my work has become an archive of my family history. Due to the archival nature of my work, I replicate ways of preserving my objects through the attentiveness of their...

In my current practice I am concerned with the objectivity and phenomenology of colour. Through using media such as light and coloured acetate, my present work is intentionally focused and uncluttered, allowing colour to be considered as a singularity without any...

With a love for colour my work addresses form and shape and the impact this has on a space. I am demonstrating how the use of bright colour can create maximum optical impact. I’m interested in pattern and repetition to create a visual aesthetic whilst whilst working...

My work currently surrounds the study of important individuals in my life. I aim to reflect the subtle emotions that can be captured candidly whilst watching someone closely and understanding them. My work predominantly consists of coloured pencil drawings which I...
