Psychedelic Geometrics

Specialising in constructed textiles and surface embellishment, I have a passion for hand embroidery, beading, and machine knitting. I love to work with bright and saturated colour palettes to create uplifting and expressive designs in cohesion with fun, tactile elements.

Psychedelic Geometrics includes fabrics created for a fashion design collection for the independent retailer ‘The Ragged Priest’. I have designed for those wanting to wear unapologetically bold designs, incorporating self-expression and trend-driven colours and patterns. The bold prints and designs reflect the distinctive style of the brand as well as my personal aesthetic. Machine knitting, laser cutting, sublimation printing, digital design and embroidery have been used to create cohesive aesthetics in a range of materials and contrasting textures. Embellishments using bright synthetic colours found within recycled plastic create unique, fun and 3D textures, alongside handmade ceramic beads.

Gan arbenigo mewn tecstilau adeiledig ac addurniadau arwyneb, mae brodwaith â llaw, gleinwaith, a gwau â pheiriant yn agos iawn at fy nghalon. Rydw i wrth fy modd yn gweithio gyda phaletau lliw llachar a dwys i greu dyluniadau dyrchafol a mynegiannol gan gydlynu hynny ag elfennau hwyliog a chyffyrddol.

Mae Psychedelic Geometrics yn cynnwys ffabrigau a grëwyd ar gyfer casgliad dylunio ffasiwn i’r manwerthwr annibynnol ‘The Ragged Priest’. Rydw i wedi cynllunio ar gyfer y rhai sydd am wisgo dyluniadau cwbl feiddgar, gan ymgorffori hunanfynegiant a lliwiau a phatrymau sy’n cael eu sbarduno gan y ffasiynau diweddaraf. Mae’r printiau a’r dyluniadau beiddgar yn adlewyrchu arddull unigryw’r brand yn ogystal â’m hesthetig personol i. Mae gwau peirianyddol, torri â laser, argraffu sychdarthu, dylunio digidol a brodwaith wedi’u defnyddio i greu estheteg gydlynol mewn casgliad o ddeunyddiau a gweadau cyferbyniol. Mae addurniadau gan ddefnyddio lliwiau synthetig llachar a geir mewn plastig wedi’i ailgylchu’n creu gweadau unigryw, hwyliog a 3D, ochr yn ochr â gleiniau ceramig wedi’u gwneud â llaw.
