I believe that user experience is the most important consideration to have when designing a product or service, and is always my main priority, with most of my focus on that area of design.
The first thing a user experiences with a product is its aesthetics, its look, the colour, and what feeling they get when it’s presented to them. The way it’s advertised and displayed to the user I believe is one of the most important parts, as it’s at that stage that the user develops their initial relationship to the concept and the intention of the design.
Therefore, it is my ambition to design aesthetically pleasing, easy to use products that help the intended user have a pleasant experience, and I do this by involving the user in every part of the design process, testing through trial and error to create a perfectly considered product that the end-user will love.
My skills involve, Digital and traditional sketching, 3D model making and rendering, thorough ideation and evaluation techniques, as well as digital graphics, with my wide array of knowledge with Adobe packages. My past experience and qualifications have taught me my strengths as well as my weaknesses, and with that, I can apply those strengths to where they’re needed in a project.
All the products I design, and projects that I am a part of are carefully thought out and sculpted through the ideation phase to create something that can make people’s lives just that one bit better.
Rwy’n credu mai profiad y defnyddiwr yw’r ystyriaeth bwysicaf wrth ddylunio cynnyrch neu wasanaeth, a dyma fy mhrif flaenoriaeth bob amser, gyda’r rhan fwyaf o’m ffocws ar yr elfen honno o ddylunio.
Y peth cyntaf mae defnyddwyr yn ei brofi gyda chynnyrch yw ei estheteg, ei olwg, y lliw, a pha deimlad maen nhw’n ei gael pan gaiff ei gyflwyno iddynt. Mae’r ffordd y caiff ei hysbysebu a’i arddangos i’r defnyddiwr yn un o’r elfennau pwysicaf yn fy marn i, gan mai bryd hynny mae’r defnyddiwr yn datblygu ei berthynas gychwynnol â’r cysyniad a bwriad y dyluniad.
Felly, fy uchelgais i yw dylunio cynhyrchion sy’n apelio’n esthetig, sy’n hawdd eu defnyddio ac yn helpu’r defnyddiwr arfaethedig i gael profiad dymunol, ac rwy’n gwneud hyn drwy gynnwys y defnyddiwr ym mhob rhan o’r broses ddylunio, profi drwy roi cynnig ar wahanol syniadau i greu cynnyrch sydd wedi’i ystyried yn llawn y bydd y defnyddiwr terfynol wrth ei fodd ag ef.
Mae fy sgiliau’n cynnwys braslunio digidol a thraddodiadol, creu a gwneud modelau 3D, technegau syniadaeth a gwerthuso trylwyr yn ogystal â graffeg ddigidol, gyda’m gwybodaeth eang am becynnau Adobe. Diolch i’m profiad a’m cymwysterau yn y gorffennol rydw i wedi dysgu beth yw fy nghryfderau yn ogystal â’m gwendidau, ac felly rwy’n gallu cymhwyso’r cryfderau hynny lle mae eu hangen mewn prosiect.
