East meets west is a collection of womenswear inspired by my Kurdish heritage. The collection tells the story of my personal journey of my life growing up between western and eastern society. The aim of the collection is to inspire other young Kurds in the middle eastern society to express themselves freely and be brave with what you wear. Using the richness of traditional patterns and colours mixed with contemporary western silhouettes to create cultural fusions.

Mae ‘East meets West’ yn gasgliad o ddillad menywod a ysbrydolwyd gan fy nhreftadaeth Cwrdaidd. Mae’r casgliad yn adrodd hanes fy nhaith bywyd personol yn tyfu i fyny rhwng cymdeithas orllewinol a dwyreiniol. Nod y casgliad yw ysbrydoli Cwrdiaid ifanc eraill yng nghymdeithas y dwyrain canol i fynegi eu hunain yn rhydd a bod yn ddewr gyda’r hyn rydych chi’n ei wisgo. Rwy’n defnyddio cyfoeth o batrymau a lliwiau traddodiadol wedi’u cymysgu â silwetau gorllewinol cyfoes i greu ymgyfuniad diwylliannol.
