BA (Hons) Artist Designer Maker

An image of Petros

As an artist I have always been interested in creating with very simple materials, such as wire or wood, and in this project, I have created using wire, wood, clay and concrete in simple ways, but giving me some beautiful outcomes when these outcomes are taken into photography. The art forms I enjoy most are minimalistic art, but also urban street art, usually trying to work on both in a single project.

The pictures are then showing my more minimalistic side, and In them I am trying to explain how human products wont last the decay of time, almost standing in place for us, showing what we have done to Earth, although immense, in front of the scale of time, everything looks small.

Fel arlunydd mae gen i ddiddordeb erioed mewn creu gyda deunyddiau syml iawn, fel gwifren neu bren. Yn y prosiect hwn, rydw i wedi gwneud gwaith wrth ddefnyddio gwifren, pren, clai a choncrit mewn ffyrdd syml sydd yn roi rhai canlyniadau hyfryd. Y ffurfiau celf rwy’n eu mwynhau fwyaf yw celf finimalaidd, a hefyd celf stryd, rwyf fel arfer yn ceisio gweithio ar y ddau mewn un prosiect.

Yma mae’r lluniau’n dangos fy ochr fwy minimalaidd, ac ynddyn nhw rydw i’n ceisio esbonio sut na fydd cynhyrchion dynol yn para pydredd amser, bron yn sefyll yn eu lle i ni, gan ddangos yr hyn rydyn ni wedi’i wneud i’r Ddaear. Er yn aruthrol, o flaen y graddfa amser, mae popeth yn edrych yn fach.
