SOPHA is a branding and UX project, for a web-based fusion food recipes service. An idea comes to me about a year ago, to share my mothers recipes online. After some discussion with my mother (my client of this project), the direction of this service has turned to the idea to design it almost like a blog. I have decided to go for a more contemporary take on the website design.
While the brand name Sopha is my mothers name for an obvious reason. The brand is designed with the concept of what comes out of the kitchen next? in mind. I used cooking smoke with different colour as a visual device to represent the excitement, taste and smell. While modern and slick, the sense of homemade is represented by illustrations of ingredient. What is truly unique for this recipe service is how recipes are categorised, with seasonal special, the audience can quickly see what recipes are recommended for that specific time — based around the four primary seasons, or even special event from Christmas to Chinese new year. The idea is unique when combined with my mothers mentality behind her recipes.

UX design is an ongoing process, have a look at the prototype and feels free to give me any feedback.

Prosiect brandio ac UX yw SOPHA, ar gyfer gwasanaeth ryseitiau bwyd cyfunol ar y we. Cefais syniad tua blwyddyn yn ôl i rannu ryseitiau fy mam ar-lein. Ar ôl trafod â mam (fy nghleient ar gyfer y prosiect hwn), mae cyfeiriad y gwasanaeth hwn wedi troi i’r syniad o’i ddylunio bron fel blog. Rwyf wedi penderfynu mynd am ddull mwy cyfoes o ddylunio’r wefan.
Enw’r brand yw Sopha, sef enw fy mam. Mae’r brand wedi’i gynllunio gan ddilyn y cysyniad o beth ddaw allan o’r gegin nesaf? Defnyddiais fŵg coginio gyda lliw gwahanol fel dull gweledol i gynrychioli’r cyffro, y blas a’r arogl. Er ei fod yn fodern ac yn slic, mae’r ymdeimlad o fwyd cartref yn cael ei gynrychioli gan luniau o’r cynhwysion. Yr hyn sy’n wirioneddol unigryw ar gyfer y gwasanaeth ryseitiau hwn yw sut y caiff ryseitiau eu categoreiddio, gyda ryseitiau tymhorol arbennig, gall y gynulleidfa weld yn gyflym pa ryseitiau a argymhellir ar gyfer yr adeg benodol honno – yn seiliedig ar y pedwar prif dymor, neu hyd yn oed ddigwyddiad arbennig o’r Nadolig i’r flwyddyn newydd Tsieineaidd. Mae fy syniad yn unigryw pan gaiff ei gyfuno â’r meddwl y mae fy mam wedi’i roi i’w ryseitiau.

Mae cynllun UX yn broses barhaus. Edrychwch ar y prototeip a rhowch unrhyw adborth i mi.
