One For All and All For Wildlife

Six coffee paintings and two tea paintings completed on 100% recycled paper, with the use of as little as 30ml of coffee and one reused tea bag

The wildlife you see in my paintings are endangered species, balancing on the brink of extinction because of you and me. And to place blame is simple, to lose faith in humanity is easy, but does it solve anything at all? I believe not. So, I have invited people through social media to adopt an animal in an exchange for a painting. An invitation with the simple intention to find even small indications of proof that change is possible, that people care and that not all faith in humanity is lost.

Therefore, I have made it this project’s purpose, not only to show that positive things can be achieved with very little, but also that there is good in people, a virtue to be acknowledged, appreciated and celebrated.

I have recently been exploring ideas related to the home and memory, and how they form identity. I am interested in how to defy the imperative to follow a linear structure in personal narrative and instead look for a more honest depiction of memory, which is itself...
