The Green Dock hotel is a luxurious 4-star hotel providing all the necessary facilities for a restful break. The hotel’s facilities include a spa, gym, pool, and large indoor event area. The hotel also features a restaurant which is open to the public.

Capable of accommodating over 250 persons, the hotel provides 132 spacious and comfortable rooms across 11 floors. The Green Dock provides an inclusive selection of rooms including 44 single rooms, 55 luxury double rooms, 22 4-person family rooms which 2 bedrooms and 2 WCs each and 11 accessible rooms which provide all the necessary amenities including a bed for a carer.

Externally, gun-metal and neon green cladding panels are used to help the hotel stand out on site. Whereas internally, the Green Dock aims to give a sense of connection to nature by filling the building with natural sunlight across all halls and rooms. The hotel also utilises a collection of greens and timber throughout the building, with a timber clad atrium going through the full height of the building.

As part of its eco strategy, the entire hotel is heated using an open-loop water source heat pump and with the use of 385 high performance solar panels the hotel is capable of producing an approximate total of 170,000 kWh a year. The hotel also uses a minimum-maintenance sedum green roof to provide the roof of the building with a lively and vibrant colour as well as host a microclimate for insects and birds while lowering CO2.

Fel rhan o’i strategaeth eco, caiff y gwesty cyfan ei gynhesu drwy ddefnydio pwmp gwres ffynhonnell ddŵr cylch agored a thrwy ddefnyddio 385 o baneli solar perfformiad uchel gall y gwesty gynhyrchu cyfanswm o tua 170,000 kWh y flwyddyn. Mae’r gwesty hefyd yn defnyddio to bywlys gwyrdd sy’n hawdd i’w gynnal a’i gadw er mwyn gwneud to’r adeilad yn fywiog a lliwgar yn ogystal â bod yn gartref i bryfaid ac adar microhinsawdd a lleihau CO2.
