The hotel also utilises a collection of greens and timber throughout the building, with a timber clad atrium going through the full height of the building.

As part of its eco strategy, the entire hotel is heated using an open-loop water source heat pump and with the use of 385 high performance solar panels the hotel is capable of producing an approximate total of 170,000 kWh a year.
