The first project is boneyard retrofitting. The designer transfers the site into a community centre to cater for the problem of lacking interaction among people, architecture, and art. Nowadays, the residential community has become the basic unit of the social framework. it is not only the supporting public facilities of the community but also the main body of community management. Its functions and responsibilities are increasingly important for the development of the community and the city.
The second project is in Yunnan province, China. The village is a minority gathering place. The most important feature of the distribution of the house is the terrace pattern. The landscape of the wedding village is characterized by mountainous countryside and a strong cultural identity. The designed architectural style is inspired by local traditional houses and adapts to humid environments. The design transforms an old, decaying house in the centre of the village into a commercial exhibition hub for handcrafted furniture making, experience and entertainment.
Y prosiect cyntaf yw ôl-osod mynwent. Mae’r dylunydd yn trosglwyddo’r safle i ganolfan gymunedol i geisio datrys y broblem o ddiffyg rhyngweithio rhwng pobl, pensaernïaeth a chelf. Bellach, y gymuned breswyl yw uned sylfaenol y fframwaith cymdeithasol. Yn ogystal â chefnogi cyfleusterau cyhoeddus y gymuned mae’n brif gorff rheoli cymunedol hefyd. Mae ei swyddogaethau a’i chyfrifoldebau’n gynyddol bwysig ar gyfer datblygu’r gymuned a’r ddinas.
Mae’r ail brosiect yn nhalaith Yunnan, Tsieina. Mae’r pentref yn fan crynhoi lleiafrifol. Nodwedd bwysicaf dosbarthiad y tŷ yw patrwm y teras. Nodweddir tirwedd y pentref priodas gan gefn gwlad mynyddig a hunaniaeth ddiwylliannol gref. Mae’r arddull bensaernïol ddyluniedig wedi’i hysbrydoli gan dai traddodiadol lleol ac yn addasu i amgylcheddau llaith. Mae’r dyluniad yn trawsnewid hen dŷ sy’n pydru yng nghanol y pentref yn ganolfan arddangos fasnachol ar gyfer gwneud dodrefn â llaw, profiad ac adloniant.
