The fading life that we are unaware of surrounds us on this planet. My exhibition is made to raise awareness of the top 15 endangered plants by creating a series of fabric prints that are both eye catching and aesthetically pleasing to the audience. Each print has been made to be applied to both fashion and homeware, I have applied a small selection of prints to a variety or items to visually show the audience how they would look in certain environments. The reason why I have chosen to do fabric prints for fashion and homeware is because I want the audience to have a small part of one of these plants with them and give them all a more sentimental meaning in our lives. There are so many plants and animals out there that have either become extinct or are critically endangered because of us, because of what we have been doing to our planet, our home and its not right. We shouldn’t be forcing extinction upon other beings for our own ego or wealth, we should be saving them, they deserve to live and to breathe just like we do.

Mae bywyd gwywol nad ydym yn ymwybodol ohono’n ein hamgylchynu ar y planed hwn. Mae fy arddangosfa wedi’i chreu i godi ymwybyddiaeth o’r 15 o blanhigion dan fygythiad uchaf trwy greu cyfres o brintiau ffabrig sy’n dal y llygad ac yn ddymunol yn esthetig i’r gynulleidfa. Mae pob print wedi’i greu i’w gymhwyso i ffasiwn a nwyddau cartref, rwyf wedi cymhwyso detholiad bach o brintiau i amrywiaeth o eitemau i ddangos yn weledol i’r gynulleidfa sut y byddent hyn yn edrych mewn amgylcheddau penodol. Y rheswm yr wyf wedi dewis creu printiau ffabrig ar gyfer ffasiwn a nwyddau cartref yw oherwydd fy mod eisiau i’r gynulleidfa gael darn bach o un o’r planhigion hyn gyda nhw a rhoi ystyr mwy sentimental yn ein bywydau iddynt i gyd. Mae cynifer o blanhigion ac anifeiliaid sydd naill ai wedi mynd yn ddiflanedig neu o dan fygythiad enbyd o’n herwydd ni, oherwydd yr hyn rydym wedi bod yn ei wneud i’n planed, ein cartref, ac nid yw hynny’n iawn. Ni ddylem fod yn gorfodi difodiant ar fodau eraill oherwydd ein hego neu ein cyfoeth ein hunain, dylem fod yn eu hachub, maent yn haeddu byw ac anadlu, yn union fel ni.
