I believe that within design, change is inevitable. But to design well, change needs to be sustainable and appreciative of what has already been achieved within the design industry.
My driving principle is to design and build without disregard for current and past architectural influences. Within my work I want to redesign architecture with the intent to deliver a functional and sustainable way of living.

My strengths as a designer lie within my meticulous working techniques. I have a need to understand all aspects of my work and methodically think through each process and practice. These traits have pushed my understanding and my work for better functionality and more realistic outcomes.

My university experience has allowed me to gain new skills and a vast knowledge of both design and software that I feel will be beneficial for my future working within the Architectural design industry.

University has allowed me to learn to value presenting my work as it has influenced my confidence in myself as well as in my designs, allowing me to become more appreciative of feedback, criticism, and ways in which I can improve.

I find inspiration from a broad range of spheres but particularly trending social media commentaries, not forgetting influences from the past major movements particularly for me, Art Deco. I feel that within my work, I like to focus on modern architectural approaches without rejecting more traditional ideals. The synergy of both has allowed me to create unique designs.

Credaf fod newid yn anochel o fewn dylunio. Ond er mwyn dylunio’n dda, mae angen i newid fod yn gynaliadwy ac yn werthfawrogol o’r hyn a gyflawnwyd eisoes yn y diwydiant dylunio.
Fy egwyddor ysgogol yw dylunio ac adeiladu heb ddiystyru dylanwadau pensaernïol y presennol a’r gorffennol. Yn fy ngwaith, rydw i eisiau ail-ddylunio pensaernïaeth gyda’r bwriad o ddarparu ffordd o fyw ymarferol a chynaliadwy.

Mae fy nghryfderau fel dylunydd i’w gweld o fewn fy nhechnegau gweithio manwl. Mae arnaf yr angen i ddeall pob agwedd ar fy ngwaith ac ystyried yn fanwl pob proses ac ymarfer mewn trefn. Mae’r nodweddion hyn wedi gwthio fy nealltwriaeth a’m gwaith tuag at ymarferoldeb gwell a chanlyniadau mwy realistig.

Mae fy mhrofiad prifysgol wedi caniatáu imi ennill sgiliau newydd a gwybodaeth helaeth am ddylunio a meddalwedd y credaf a fydd yn fuddiol ar gyfer fy nyfodol yn gweithio o fewn y diwydiant dylunio Pensaernïol.

Mae’r Brifysgol wedi caniatáu imi ddysgu gwerthfawrogi cyflwyno fy ngwaith oherwydd mae hyn wedi dylanwadu ar fy hyder ynof fy hun yn ogystal ag yn fy nyluniadau, gan ganiatáu imi werthfawrogi adborth a beirniadaeth yn well, a ffyrdd y gallaf wella.

Rwy’n cael fy ysbrydoli gan ystod eang o feysydd ond yn arbennig gan sylwebaethau sy’n trendio ar gyfryngau cymdeithasol, heb anghofio am ddylanwadau o symudiadau mawr y gorffennol, yn benodol i mi, Art Déco. Teimlaf fy mod i’n hoffi canolbwyntio ar ddulliau pensaernïol modern yn fy ngwaith heb wrthod delfrydau mwy traddodiadol. Mae synergedd y ddau wedi caniatáu imi greu dyluniadau unigryw.

My interest in creating pleasant spaces goes back to my childhood and my family background. I am the daughter of an Iranian architect, who is full of taste and motivation to create and design better surroundings. I look at everything differently and try to set a new...

Unlike some, I cannot say that I always knew Interior Design was the route I was destined to go down. While I have always had a keen eye and a strong love for artistic design, for me, designing a space seemed like more of a hobby rather than a job that I could pursue...

I’m not one for grand philosophical ideas through design that will ultimately end up being someones living or work space. As a designer all I really aspire to do is create something that is of value to the person using that bit of design whether it’s a space or a...

What interior design means to me is creating a space that reaches its purpose’s full potential. Creating a successful interior design is to produce designs that are easily understood, have functionality and have recognisable aesthetics. When approaching an interior...

The intrigue within me in relation to creating inclusive dimensions derives from being well travelled and primarily being in close contact with disabled children. In 2015 I volunteered for an organisation called Allsorts in Stroud, aiming to provide fun activities for...

To me, design is about working with others to find solutions to their problems. It is only by getting onto someone else’s level and experiencing their journey and needs can one create an experience that doesn’t make assumptions. It is how we use design as a tool to...
