Design is multisensory.
Design is emotional.
Design is accessible.
Design is a motive.
Design is personal.
Design is sharing.
Design is communicative.
Design is interactive.
Design is sensitive.

I design to reflect these principles.

I realised early on that describing the imagery and ideas for my design through words alone was not enough – interactive mood boards held the key to my communication. I believe in a multi-sensorial approach to design through communication and interaction. To me, design ethos is the shared emotional experience between the designer, the user and the concept. It is my aim through these design strategies to stimulate each sense, visually, physically and emotionally, to create a product reflective of the needs and desires of the client and the innovation of the designer.

Mae dylunio yn amlsynhwyraidd
Mae dylunio yn emosiynol
Mae dylunio yn hygyrch
Mae dylunio yn gymhelliad
Mae dylunio yn bersonol
Mae dylunio yn rhannu
Mae dylunio yn gyfathrebol
Mae dylunio yn rhyngweithiol
Mae dylunio yn sensitif

Rwyf yn dylunio i adlewyrchu’r egwyddorion hyn.

Sylweddolais yn fuan na fyddai disgrifio’r ddelweddaeth a’r syniadau ar gyfer fy nyluniad drwy eiriau yn unig yn ddigon – roedd byrddau hwyliau rhyngweithiol yn allweddol i’r cyfathrebu. Rwyf yn credu mewn dull amlsynhwyraidd ar gyfer dylunio drwy gyfathrebu a rhyngweithio. I fi ethos dylunio yw’r profiad emosiynol a fydd yn cael ei rannu rhwng y dyluniwr, y defnyddiwr a’r cysyniad. Drwy’r strategaethau dylunio hyn, fy nod yw ysgogi pob un o’r synhwyrau, yn weledol, yn gorfforol ac yn emosiynol i greu cynnyrch a fydd yn adlewyrchu anghenion a dymuniadau’r cleient a datblygiadau newydd y dyluniwr.

Unlike some, I cannot say that I always knew Interior Design was the route I was destined to go down. While I have always had a keen eye and a strong love for artistic design, for me, designing a space seemed like more of a hobby rather than a job that I could pursue...

I’m not one for grand philosophical ideas through design that will ultimately end up being someones living or work space. As a designer all I really aspire to do is create something that is of value to the person using that bit of design whether it’s a space or a...

What interior design means to me is creating a space that reaches its purpose’s full potential. Creating a successful interior design is to produce designs that are easily understood, have functionality and have recognisable aesthetics. When approaching an interior...

The intrigue within me in relation to creating inclusive dimensions derives from being well travelled and primarily being in close contact with disabled children. In 2015 I volunteered for an organisation called Allsorts in Stroud, aiming to provide fun activities for...

To me, design is about working with others to find solutions to their problems. It is only by getting onto someone else’s level and experiencing their journey and needs can one create an experience that doesn’t make assumptions. It is how we use design as a tool to...
