by using both installation and abstract performance I intended to look at the relation between the space and the performer, all the while looking at personal and political issues and the historical impact of performance in relation to political ideals. With personal explorations into masculinity and what it means to me to be a man in my generation. With a textile element with inspiration from the neo club kid’s scenes in London and Glasgow using stage like performance and costume. With father performative inspiration coming from artist such as scottee, Charlie Jeffery’s.

Drwy ddefnyddio perfformiad haniaethol a gosodiad, fy mwriad oedd edrych ar y berthynas rhwng y gofod a’r perfformwyr, gan edrych drwy’r amser ar faterion personol a gwleidyddol ac effaith hanesyddol perfformio mewn perthynas â delfrydau gwleidyddol. Ynghyd ag archwiliadau personol i wrywdod a’r hyn mae’n ei olygu i fi i fod yn ddyn yn fy nghenhedlaeth i. Gydag elfen decstilau ac ysbrydoliaeth oddi wrth y Neo Club Kid’s Scene yn Llundain a Glasgow yn defnyddio gwisgoedd a pherfformiad llwyfan-debyg. A rhagor o ysbrydoliaeth perfformiadol gan artistiaid megis scottee, Charlie Jeffery’s.

I have recently been exploring ideas related to the home and memory, and how they form identity. I am interested in how to defy the imperative to follow a linear structure in personal narrative and instead look for a more honest depiction of memory, which is itself...
