BA (Hons) Interior Design

The interior design had given me the opportunity to discover a new creative world. Though my course, I made it my goal to explore art in a world of 3d, to conjure a beautiful and imaginative experience. As a designer, I am extremely fascinated with unique and surreal designs. My intention is to explore the infinite concept that imagination can offer. I especially found a keen interest in industrial and futuristic designs. These types of concepts are significant in this century. They enhanced the environment into a futuristic era.

With a keen interest in surrealism, and eye of detail and love toward light design. I believe that I can bring more unique and creative experience in interior design. Each one of my projects has an identity of its own. This is because I embrace an idea in every aspect to create a dramatic and unforgettable experience.

Roedd dylunio mewnol wedi rhoi cyfle i mi ddarganfod byd creadigol newydd. Gydol fy nghwrs, fy nod oedd archwilio celf mewn byd o 3D, i greu profiad hardd a dychmygus. Fel dylunydd, mae gen i ddiddordeb mawr mewn dyluniadau unigryw a swrrealaidd. Fy mwriad yw archwilio’r cysyniad diderfyn y gall dychymyg ei gynnig. Fe wnes i ganfod diddordeb brwd mewn dyluniadau diwydiannol a dyfodolaidd yn arbennig. Mae’r mathau hyn o gysyniadau’n arwyddocaol yn y ganrif hon. Fe wnaethant wella’r amgylchedd a’i droi’n oes ddyfodolaidd.

Gyda diddordeb brwd mewn swrrealaeth, a llygad am fanylder a hoffter o ddylunio ysgafn, rwy’n credu y gallaf ddod â phrofiad mwy unigryw a chreadigol i ddylunio mewnol. Mae gan bob un o’m prosiectau ei hunaniaeth ei hun. Mae hyn oherwydd fy mod yn cofleidio pob agwedd ar syniad i greu profiad dramatig a bythgofiadwy.

Unlike some, I cannot say that I always knew Interior Design was the route I was destined to go down. While I have always had a keen eye and a strong love for artistic design, for me, designing a space seemed like more of a hobby rather than a job that I could pursue...

I’m not one for grand philosophical ideas through design that will ultimately end up being someones living or work space. As a designer all I really aspire to do is create something that is of value to the person using that bit of design whether it’s a space or a...

What interior design means to me is creating a space that reaches its purpose’s full potential. Creating a successful interior design is to produce designs that are easily understood, have functionality and have recognisable aesthetics. When approaching an interior...

The intrigue within me in relation to creating inclusive dimensions derives from being well travelled and primarily being in close contact with disabled children. In 2015 I volunteered for an organisation called Allsorts in Stroud, aiming to provide fun activities for...

To me, design is about working with others to find solutions to their problems. It is only by getting onto someone else’s level and experiencing their journey and needs can one create an experience that doesn’t make assumptions. It is how we use design as a tool to...
