BA (Hons) Interior Design

Interior design in its many forms, surrounds us every day and has proven effects on mood and well-being. Design effectively creates feeling and is pivotal in communicating a successful design scheme and story. I strongly believe that it is only once I have found innovative ways to communicate and illustrate my schemes that I can truly begin to sell the concept.

As a creative, I am hugely passionate about communicating my design practices in a high-quality visual manner that clearly tells the story that a space creates. I thrive in situations where visual concepts can be hard to convey, and I seek new and innovative ways in which I can present mood and feeling. Visualization can be incredibly broad and open to misinterpretation which is why I feel so strongly about designing illustrations that convey key aspects with great ease. The visuals I create allow me to show my contemporary and industrial design style that I utilise when approaching briefs and projects. My bold and impactive approach paired with my strong visual aids make me a valuable addition to any design, visualization or communication-based team.

Mae dylunio mewnol yn ei amryfal ffurfiau, yn ein hamgylchynu bob dydd ac yn cael effeithiau profedig ar hwyliau a lles. Mae dylunio yn y bôn yn creu teimlad ac yn ganolog wrth gyfathrebu cynllun a stori ddylunio lwyddiannus. Rwy’n credu’n gryf mai dim ond ar ôl i mi ganfod ffyrdd arloesol o gyfathrebu a darlunio fy nghynlluniau y gallaf i ddechrau gwerthu’r cysyniad o ddifrif.

Fel rhywun creadigol, rwy’n teimlo’n angerddol iawn ynghylch cyfleu fy arferion dylunio mewn modd gweledol o ansawdd uchel sy’n adrodd y stori y mae gofod yn ei chreu mewn ffordd glir. Rwy’n ffynnu mewn sefyllfaoedd lle gall cysyniadau gweledol fod yn anodd eu cyfleu, ac rwy’n chwilio am ffyrdd newydd ac arloesol o gyflwyno hwyliau a theimlad. Gall delweddu fod yn anhygoel o eang ac yn agored i gael eu camddehongli a dyna pam rwy’n teimlo mor gryf am ddylunio darluniau sy’n cyfleu agweddau allweddol yn rhwydd iawn. Mae’r delweddau gweledol rwy’n eu creu yn fy ngalluogi i ddangos fy arddull dylunio cyfoes a diwydiannol y byddaf yn ei defnyddio wrth ymdrin â briffiau a phrosiectau. Mae fy null beiddgar a chryf law yn llaw â’m cymhorthion gweledol cryf yn fy ngwneud yn gaffaeliad gwerthfawr at unrhyw dîm dylunio, delweddu neu gyfathrebu.

My interest in creating pleasant spaces goes back to my childhood and my family background. I am the daughter of an Iranian architect, who is full of taste and motivation to create and design better surroundings. I look at everything differently and try to set a new...

Unlike some, I cannot say that I always knew Interior Design was the route I was destined to go down. While I have always had a keen eye and a strong love for artistic design, for me, designing a space seemed like more of a hobby rather than a job that I could pursue...

I’m not one for grand philosophical ideas through design that will ultimately end up being someones living or work space. As a designer all I really aspire to do is create something that is of value to the person using that bit of design whether it’s a space or a...

What interior design means to me is creating a space that reaches its purpose’s full potential. Creating a successful interior design is to produce designs that are easily understood, have functionality and have recognisable aesthetics. When approaching an interior...

The intrigue within me in relation to creating inclusive dimensions derives from being well travelled and primarily being in close contact with disabled children. In 2015 I volunteered for an organisation called Allsorts in Stroud, aiming to provide fun activities for...

To me, design is about working with others to find solutions to their problems. It is only by getting onto someone else’s level and experiencing their journey and needs can one create an experience that doesn’t make assumptions. It is how we use design as a tool to...
