This lighting collection is manufactured from sustainably sourced Ash and European Walnut. The designs aim to bridge the gap between smart lighting technology and traditional materials. The aesthetics of the collection has been influenced and inspired by contrast and geometric shapes, applying these themes to traditional materials helps achieve a balance between traditional materiality and more modern, minimalist aesthetics. The form and function of the lighting designs are driven by the importance of usability, by looking at the affordances of a circle this should improve the usability of my designs. I focus my designing on creating a positive impact, both mentally and physically. The integration of affordance and adaptability aims to improve the experience the user has with the design.

Mae’r casgliad goleuadau hwn wedi ei lunio o bren onnen a chollen Ffrengig o ffynonellau cynaliadwy. Nod y dyluniadau yw pontio’r bwlch rhwng technoleg goleuadau clyfar a deunyddiau traddodiadol. Mae estheteg y casgliad wedi cael ei ddylanwadu a’i ysbrydoli gan wrthgyferbyniad a siapiau geometrig, ac mae cymhwyso’r themâu hyn i ddeunyddiau traddodiadol o gymorth wrth sicrhau cydbwysedd rhwng perthnasedd traddodiadol ac estheteg finimalaidd fwy modern. Mae ffurf a swyddogaeth y dyluniadau goleuo yn cael eu cymell gan bwysigrwydd defnyddioldeb. Dylai edrych ar ddichonoldeb cylch wella defnyddioldeb fy nyluniadau. Mae fy ngwaith dylunio’n canolbwyntio ar greu effaith gadarnhaol, yn feddyliol ac yn gorfforol. Nod integreiddio dichonoldeb a hyblygrwydd yw gwella profiad y defnyddiwr o ymhél â’r dyluniad.
