Delusional Lies – artist, designer and hoarder
Delusional Lies is the pseudonym under which Cardiff based artist/designer/hoarder Liam Boyle operates, primarily working within the field of sculpture and homeware.
Drawing on formalist and minimalist values he experiments with the intersection of shape, line and colour. A core aesthetic in his work is the use of dark walnut against the uniform texture of plywood’s laminated edge, creating a striking contrast between materials. Liam works with both manmade and natural timbers and uses digital manufacturing and handmade processes.
