Sara Khoshroo

BA (Hons) Interior Design

My interest in creating pleasant spaces goes back to my childhood and my family background. I am the daughter of an Iranian architect, who is full of taste and motivation to create and design better surroundings. I look at everything differently and try to set a new fit and more suitable layout for the unpleasant interior. For me, nature is the best designer and painter.

As ân artist, I have the ability to create thoughtfully and intelligently and I totally have confidence in doing so. I am an experienced and determined mother, I have Great skills in problem-solving, affairs-categorizing, task-prioritising, and time-management. Leadership and communication skills are caused by my confidence and my perseverance and motivation help me work under pressure with my team.

Studying interior design at Cardiff-Met nurtured my keen interest in interiors. I enjoy my job and take pride in the work that I do. I strongly believe that the living environment affects the behaviour of human beings and their qualities of life. I would like to contribute to the growth of well-being in society which leads to good behaviour. Society is going to be our children’s second home

My favourite interior design style is mid-century modern, also the Mediterranean, boho and rustic styles, but I am totally flexible and open to any method. I would love to do commercial design for big special spaces like hotels, restaurants and domestic like villas. I am a firm believer in working hard, working together, and having fun along the way!

Mae fy niddordeb mewn creu gofodau dymunol yn mynd yn ôl i’m plentyndod a’m cefndir teuluol. Rwy’n ferch i bensaer o Iran, ac yn llawn chwaeth a chymhelliant i greu a dylunio amgylcheddau gwell. Rwy’n edrych ar bopeth yn wahanol ac yn ceisio cynnig rhywbeth newydd a chynllun mwy addas ar gyfer tu mewn annymunol. I mi, natur yw’r dylunydd a’r peintiwr gorau.

Fel artist, mae gen i’r gallu i greu’n feddylgar a deallus ac mae gen i hyder llwyr i wneud hynny. Rwy’n fam brofiadol a phenderfynol, mae gennyf sgiliau gwych mewn datrys problemau, categoreiddio materion, blaenoriaethu tasgau, a rheoli amser. Mae fy sgiliau arwain a chyfathrebu’n deillio o’m hyder ac mae fy nyfalbarhad a’m cymhelliant yn fy helpu i weithio dan bwysau gyda fy nhîm.

Fe wnaeth astudio dylunio mewnol ym Met Caerdydd feithrin fy niddordeb brwd mewn dylunio mewnol. Rwy’n mwynhau fy swydd ac yn ymfalchïo yn y gwaith rwy’n ei wneud. Rwy’n credu’n gryf fod yr amgylchedd byw yn effeithio ar ymddygiad pobl ac ansawdd eu bywyd. Hoffwn i gyfrannu at dwf lles mewn cymdeithas sy’n arwain at ymddygiad da. Cymdeithas fydd ail gartref ein plant

Fy hoff arddull dylunio mewnol yw arddull fodern canol y ganrif, hefyd Mediteranaidd, boho ac arddulliau gwladaidd, ond rwy’n gwbl hyblyg ac yn agored i unrhyw ddull. Byddwn wrth fy modd yn gwneud gwaith dylunio masnachol ar gyfer llefydd mawr arbennig fel gwestai, bwytai ac eiddo domestig fel filâu. Rwy’n credu’n gryf mewn gweithio’n galed, gweithio gyda’n gilydd, a chael hwyl wrth wneud hynny!

Unlike some, I cannot say that I always knew Interior Design was the route I was destined to go down. While I have always had a keen eye and a strong love for artistic design, for me, designing a space seemed like more of a hobby rather than a job that I could pursue...

I’m not one for grand philosophical ideas through design that will ultimately end up being someones living or work space. As a designer all I really aspire to do is create something that is of value to the person using that bit of design whether it’s a space or a...

What interior design means to me is creating a space that reaches its purpose’s full potential. Creating a successful interior design is to produce designs that are easily understood, have functionality and have recognisable aesthetics. When approaching an interior...

The intrigue within me in relation to creating inclusive dimensions derives from being well travelled and primarily being in close contact with disabled children. In 2015 I volunteered for an organisation called Allsorts in Stroud, aiming to provide fun activities for...

To me, design is about working with others to find solutions to their problems. It is only by getting onto someone else’s level and experiencing their journey and needs can one create an experience that doesn’t make assumptions. It is how we use design as a tool to...
