Taking the negative spaces of hands, this piece explores the concept of hidden beauty; the everyday and overlooked as extraordinary. By using something so commonplace as a hand and making it a feature highlights this ordinary as a spectacle. The installation has been designed so that when you interact with the small hand held objects larger images of such objects appear. Making the connection from the form in the hand to that of the landscape. The main focus was on hands as because they are specifically important to us as makers, but also are often very much neglected.
