Amanda Brooks

BA (Hons) Artist Designer Maker

Within Nature

Amanda’s jewellery encapsulates natural forms in resin to emphasize and distil the inherent beauty of each artefact. The process of trapping a piece in clear resin places a special significance on it, as though each one is contained in a miniature museum cabinet, through a form which has been carefully curated. The pieces are designed in such a way that they can be used as ornament for the home as well as for the body, thus merging the boundaries between art and design, sculpture and jewellery.
