My anthropomorphic forms address our metacognitive ability when learning and are displaying playful ways which mundane objects could be used if we change the way we think about our thinking. An individual’s past experimentation with an object can limit the possibilities of an unfamiliar object and restrict the use of familiar objects.

For a child, they see an unfamiliar object as an opportunity to explore and be imaginative, this is called Heuristic Play. Children are not cognizant of social constraints associated with the use of objects. Who is to say there is a right or wrong way?

Unlike children, adults use a metacognitive monitoring process when using an object. This process involves the repetitive interaction with mundane objects in each individual’s environment. These automatic cues inform their body subconsciously of the object’s usage and it is this repetitive interaction with an object that then becomes a habit, and it is this habit which limits the scope of an objects usage.

When approaching unfamiliar objects, do not look for the right or wrong qualities or compare them to past experimentations with similar attributes to fill in the gaps when learning. Use your metacognitive ability to improve your self-efficacy towards using mundane objects and visualize all the playful possibilities to broaden your scope. Relying on our mind rather than the limited scope of an object.

Mae fy ffurfiau anthropomorffig yn mynd i’r afael â’n gallu metawybyddol wrth ddysgu ac maen nhw’n arddangos y dulliau chwareus y gellid defnyddio gwrthrychau tasen ni’n newid ein ffordd o feddwl. Gall arbrofion unigolyn yn y gorffennol gyfyngu ar bosibiliadau gwrthrych anghyfarwydd a chyfyngu ar y defnydd o wrthrychau cyfarwydd.

Mae plentyn yn gweld gwrthrych anghyfarwydd fel cyfle i archwilio a bod yn ddychmygus, sef Chwarae Hewristig. Dydy plant ddim yn ymwybodol o’r cyfyngiadau cymdeithasol sy’n gysylltiedig â gwrthrychau. Pwy sydd i ddweud bod ‘na ffordd gywir neu anghywir?

Yn annhebyg i blant, mae oedolion yn defnyddio proses monitro metawybyddol wrth ddefnyddio gwrthrych. Mae’r broses yn cynnwys rhyngweithiad ailadroddus gyda gwrthrychau cyffredin yn amgylchedd pob unigolyn. Mae’r awgrymiadau awtomatig hyn yn egluro wrth yr isymwybod beth ydy pwrpas y gwrthrych ac mae hyn yn datblygu’n arferiad a’r arferiad hwn sy’n cyfyngu ar sgôp y defnydd wneir o’r gwrthrych.

Wrth ddod at gwrthrychau anghyfarwydd, peidiwch ag edrych am y nodweddion cywir neu anghywir na’u cymharu â chyn arbrofion gyda gwrthrychau â nodweddion tebyg i lenwi bylchau yn eich gwybodaeth. Defnyddiwch eich gallu metawybyddiaeth i wella’ch hunan-effeithiolrwydd wrth ddefnyddio gwrthrychau cyffredin a delweddu’r holl bosibiliadau chwareus i ehangu’ch sgôp. Dibynnu ar eich meddwl yn hytrach nag ar sgôp cyfyng y gwrthrych
