We have recently witnessed a steep rise in discussions about mental health, but this is not matched by levels of support provided, I design and make objects that aim to support mental wellness. These objects use light as well as visual patterns and textures designed to ground and help focus you.

Referencing the Memphis movements exploration of colour and form I endeavour to take the viewer back to playful and childlike state of mind. To a relaxed, explorative, and imaginative time. Back to that space where we question, and we are at our most curious. When we considered ourselves first and we really thought about how we feel and what we need to feel safe.

Gwelsom gynnydd sylweddol eisoes yn y drafodaeth am iechyd meddwl, ond nid yw’r lefelau cymorth sy’n cael eu darparu’n cyfateb â hyn, rwy’n cynllunio a chreu gwrthrychau gyda’r bwriad o gefnogi lles meddyliol. Mae’r gwrthrychau yma’n defnyddio golau yn ogystal â phatrymau gweledol a gweadau i gynnig sylfaen a’ch helpu i ganolbwyntio.

Gan gyfeirio at archwiliad lliw a ffurf symudiadau Memphis rwy’n ymdrechu i fynd â’r gwyliwr yn ôl i gyflwr meddwl chwareus a phlentynnaidd. I gyfnod hamddenol, arbrofol a dychmygol. Yn ôl i’r gofod ymholgar a chwilfrydig hwnnw. Mae’r gwrthrychau yma’n defnyddio golau yn ogystal â phatrymau gweledol a gweadau i gynnig sylfaen a’ch helpu i ganolbwyntio.
