Brittania Quay, Cardiff Bay – Arts Centre
Brief: To develop of a vacant site in Cardiff Bay to provide an exciting new Arts Centre.
The Arts Centre is four storey building constructed in steel and concrete floors, accommodating each facilities needed for the Riverside Arts Centre. The building will be built south-east facing the docks of Cardiff Bay. It would be ideal for the building to be built facing the Roath basin, as the sun will be rising in the east.
As for external finishes, iridescent tile is used around the building and a 15 feet curved column placed in front of the building to create an innovative design.
