As a printmaker my work focuses on the relationship between the botanical world and art. My work focuses on the attention to detail by looking closely at patterns, textures and colour that are found within nature in flowers and plants. My inspiration for my print outcomes looks at a deeper meaning into the botanical world by looking at it at a totally different perspective by examining the cells of flowers and plants using a microscope.
A minnau’n gwneuthurwr printiau, bydd fy ngwaith yn canolbwyntio ar y berthynas rhwng y byd botanegol a chelf. Mae fy ngwaith yn canolbwyntio ar roi sylw i fanylder drwy edrych yn ofalus ar y patrymau, y gweadeddau a’r lliwiau sydd i’w cael yn natur mewn blodau a phlanhigion. Mae fy ysbrydoliaeth ar gyfer fy mhrintiau yn edrych ar ystyr dyfnach yn y byd botanegol drwy edrych arno o bersbectif cwbl wahanol drwy archwilio celloedd blodau a phlanhigion gan ddefnyddio microsgop.
