Ephemeral Nature

My current work explores the landscapes of nature and in particular the form of the leaf. It captures colour, shape and texture through the use of clay imprinted moulds. These moulds combined with coloured glass frit create beautiful and unique pieces, highlighting the beauty and the decay of nature through material. These forms are then presented within clear encased resin to preserve the fragile and ephemeral material whilst creating functional and decorative forms.
