A creative and visual orientated product designer that believes design should be created with the user at the core to deliver aesthetically engaging work. This is from my natural understanding of how products are first perceived by the customer and that they are first bought with the initial look and appealing style the product possesses.
With a visual and speculative approach to a project, my strengths are best suited to the concept and visualisation stage where I can start to make products become a reality and can reflect the features they possess. Using my skills and the work I have produced; I can bring a positive and collaborative mindset that can work as a team or individually. Within a team environment I can provide effective team communication as well as the ability to listen and enhance colleague ideas to further progress them.
Working collectively as part of a team can make or break a product, and through experience of collaborative team projects with likeminded product designers and designers from other disciplines I understand and thrive when working with a positive and progressive team.
Projects like these include 24-hour design challenges with external clients such as Safran and Academia where both challenged a mixed team of students to develop a brand fitted product that meets a competitive brief. This developed not only my skills within a team environment but also my skills to time keep and work to a pressurised deadline with a real client.
Dylunydd cynnyrch creadigol sy’n canolbwyntio ar y gweledol ac sy’n credu y dylid creu dyluniad gyda’r defnyddiwr yn ganolog iddo i greu gwaith sy’n ennyn diddordeb esthetig. Gan ddefnyddio fy sgiliau a’r gwaith rydw i wedi’i gynhyrchu, gallaf gynnig meddylfryd cadarnhaol a chydweithredol a all weithio mewn tîm neu’n unigol. Mewn amgylchedd tîm, rwy’n gallu darparu cyfathrebu tîm effeithiol yn ogystal â’r gallu i wrando a gwella syniadau cydweithwyr i’w datblygu ymhellach.
Gall gweithio gyda’n gilydd fel rhan o dîm wneud i gynnyrch lwyddo neu fethu, a thrwy brofiad o brosiectau tîm cydweithredol gyda dylunwyr cynnyrch a dylunwyr o’r un anian o ddisgyblaethau eraill rwy’n deall ac yn ffynnu wrth weithio gyda thîm cadarnhaol a blaengar.

Datblygodd hyn nid yn unig fy sgiliau mewn amgylchedd tîm ond hefyd fy sgiliau i gadw at amserlen a gweithio i derfyn amser dan bwysau gyda chleient go iawn.
