My name is Maddi, and I am a BSc Architectural Design and Technology student.
This is my ADZ6888 summer show submission “The Boardwalk Hotel”. It is a four star business hotel proposed for a site in Cardiff Bay around the marina. The hotel is a Seven story tower and podium style building that is clad in brick slips and terracotta tiles. It contains a range of facilities that can accommodate a wide range of guests, this includes a conference area, bar, restaurant, café and gym. The hotel can accommodate up to 140 guests in a range of double or twin rooms. The architecture compliments the surrounding area and frames the view that surrounds the site as it main design feature.

Dyma fy nghyflwyniad sioe haf ADZ688 “The Boardwalk Hotel”. Gwesty busnes pedair seren ar gyfer safle ym Mae Caerdydd yng nghyffiniau’r marina yw hwn. Mae’r gwesty saith llawr ar ffurf adeilad tŵr a phodiwm wedi’i gladio â slipiau briciau a theils terracotta. Mae’n cynnwys amrywiaeth o gyfleusterau er mwyn lletya amrywiaeth eang o westeion, gan gynnwys ardal gynadledda, bar, bwyty, caffi a champfa. Gall y gwesty letya hyd at 140 o westeion mewn amrywiaeth o ystafelloedd dwbl neu bâr. Mae’r bensaernïaeth yn gweddu i’r ardal gyfagos gan fframio’r olygfa o gwmpas fel un o brif nodweddion y dyluniad.
