Pen Y Fan Visitor centre
As part of the National Trusts Pont ar Daf master plan the proposed design would offer a welcoming shelter where all those visiting pen y fan can rest after climbing the mountain, enjoy food in the visitor centre’s café, stay overnight in the onsite accommodation or simply enjoy the view of the mountain. The building hopes to enhance the experience of those visiting Pen y Fan without detracting from the natural beauty of the mountain and as such the wooden building will stand in contrast to grassy slopes of the mountain.
