Functionality and Beauty

The CNC milled wood components of these pieces are informed by the study of, and the digital scanning of the smooth peaks and dips seen in the growth of moss.

The intention was to create a subtle, yet familiar sense of nature within the home. The undulations in the wood of these objects generates a playful but sleek mould into which blown and slumped glass is nestled, creating a textural contrast but also a contrast in skill and process, from the hand crafted to the digitally designed.
