‘Decoratif Reflection’ comes from a collaboration of the memories and styles of my grandmothers, it illustrates how the past can influence future trends.
Decoratif is the original word depicting the style of Art Deco and Reflection acts as the personal connection that I have with the theme. My geometric surface patterns include beetle bugs in their natural environment, displayed in an Art Deco style.

This collection is for high end interiors for a customer who seeks both the quirky and the stylish! The main focus of the collection is the wallpaper range, acting as my ‘hero’ designs. The collection has been hand silk screen printed onto both paper and silk dupion fabric. The pigment colours have stiffened the silk making it appropriate for the home accessory products I intend such as blinds, lamp shades and silk wallpapers. This hand technique allows every print to be uniquely different, bringing a sense of understanding and an appreciation of the importance of the handmade craft world.

Daw ‘Decoratif Reflection’ o ganlyniad i gydweu atgofion am fy neiniau a’u steiliau nhw. Mae’n dangos sut gall y gorffennol ddylanwadu ar dueddiadau’r dyfodol. Decoratif yw’r gair gwreiddiol sy’n dynodi arddull Art Deco ac mae Myfyrio yn dangos y cysylltiad personol sydd gen i â’r thema. Mae fy mhatrymau arwyneb geometrig yn cynnwys chwilod yn eu hamgylchedd naturiol wedi’u harddangos mewn arddull Art Deco.

Mae’r casgliad hwn ar gyfer y tu mewn i adeiladau yn rhan uchaf y farchnad ac ar gyfer cwsmer sydd am gael rhywbeth hynod ac sydd yn llawn steil! Y gyfres ar bapurau wal yw prif ffocws y casgliad a’r rhain yw fy nyluniadau ‘arwr’. Mae’r casgliad wedi’i brintio â sgrin sidan â’r llaw a’i roi ar bapur ac ar ffabrig dwpion sidan. Mae pigment y lliwiau wedi caledu’r sidan gan ei wneud yn addas ar gyfer cynhyrchion ategol y cartref megis bleindiau, cysgodion lampau a phapurau wal sidan. Mae’r dechneg llaw yma wedi galluogi pob print i fod yn wahanol a gwreiddiol, gan ddod ag ymdeimlad o ddealltwriaeth a gwerthfawrogiad o bwysigrwydd y byd crefftau llaw.
