“I’m a Surface pattern and a textile Designer. My inspiration comes from things I see around me such as nature, architecture, and other things. I love to create my patterns using different mediums and techniques such as watercolour paintings, ink drawings, pencil sketches or even digital illustration.
My patterns for the final collection were inspired from the historical buildings and architecture in my city Cardiff. Focusing at the old style of the buildings. Using ink pens to sketch them and watercolours to paint them, and turning them into repeat patterns using photoshop and illustrator.”

Pensaernïaeth ac adeiladau hanesyddol fy ninas, Caerdydd, oedd yr ysbrydoliaeth i batrymau fy nghasgliad terfynol – gyda phwyslais ar hen adeiladau. Defnyddiais bennau inc i fraslunio a dyfrlliwiau i’w peintio, cyn eu troi’n batrymau ailadroddus gyda Photoshop ac Illustrator.”
