Chloe Lindsey

BA (Hons) Textiles

I am Chloe Lindsey, a Textile designer based in South Wales. All my work focuses on digital surface patterns and digital embroidery. I have a unique style with interests in Scandinavian design and passions for pastel colors and anything shiny. My time at university has been an amazing rollercoaster that has shaped my personality and my design styles. My final collection focuses on a childrens Nursery in a woodland theme. My collections have always been inspired by my home life and my final collection at university is inspired and dedicated to my younger brother and sister. I was an only child until I was 18 and having young siblings has brought a huge impact in my life. Therefore it seemed like a perfect setting having my final collection be about them. Once I finish University I have been offered a place in the CSAD Incubation unit. During my next chapter, I shall be getting support and a workspace to set up my own business which will focus on my love and passions for textiles and glitter. Keep your eyes peeled for Pixie Dust as it is an up and coming brand that I am so excited to share with you all.

Chloe Lindsey ydw i, dylunydd tecstilau o Dde Cymru. Mae fy holl waith yn canolbwyntio ar batrymau arwyneb digidol a brodwaith digidol. Mae fy arddull yn unigryw ac mae gen i ddiddordeb mewn Dylunio Sgandinafaidd ac yn teimlo’n frwd dros lliwiau pastel ac unrhyw beth sgleiniog. Mae fy amser yn y brifysgol wedi bod yn daith ryfeddol llawn cyffro sydd wedi siapio fy mhersonoliaeth a fy arddulliau dylunio. Fy mywyd gartre ysbrydolodd fy nghasgliadau ac ysbrydolwyd fy nghasgliad terfynol yn y brifysgol gan fy mrawd a fy chwaer iau ac wedi’i gyflwyno iddyn nhw. Unig blentyn oeddwn i nes i mi fod yn 18 oed ac mae cael brawd a chwaer iau wedi cael effaith fawr ar fy mywyd. Felly, roedd yn berffaith bod a wnelo fy nghasgliad terfynol â nhw. Ar ôl i mi orffen yn y Brifysgol dw i wedi cael cynnig lle yn Uned Ddeor Ysgol Celf a Dylunio Caerdydd. Yn ystod pennod nesaf fy mywyd, bydda i’n cael cymorth a gofod gwaith i sefydlu fy musnes a fydd yn ffocysu ar fy nghariad a fy hoffter o decstilau a ‘sbarcls’. Cofiwch enw Pixie Dust gan y bydd yn frand fydd yn enwog ryw ddydd.
