As a product designer, I believe a design has great power and responsibility, what drives me within design is not only designing beautiful products, but the complete user experience, that of which entails a mix of cross relating fields coming together to realise a product. Design has a responsibility to create objects that are not only visually stunning and functional, but also environmentally friendly and user-centric. Being a successful designer is about using imagination, initiative, creativity and persistence to successfully tackle intricate problems. With a critical and intuitive approach to the design process, my strengths lie within the conceptualization stage; where a simple innovated idea starts to come to life. Design to me is when a physical object merges with a vivid user experience. As a designer, I strive to enhance lives, through purposeful design.

Fel dylunydd cynnyrch, rwy’n credu bod gan ddylunydd bŵer a chyfrifoldeb mawr, yr hyn sy’n fy nghymell o fewn dylunio yw nid yn unig dylunio cynnyrch prydferth, ond y profiad defnyddiwr cyflawn, sy’n cynnwys dod â chymysgedd o feysydd cysylltiedig ynghyd i wireddu cynnyrch. Mae gan ddylunio gyfrifoldeb dros greu gwrthrychau nad ydynt yn unig yn syfrdanol yn weledol ac yn ymarferol, ond yn llesol i’r amgylchedd ac yn canolbwyntio ar y defnyddiwr. Mae bod yn ddylunydd llwyddiannus yn golygu defnyddio dychymyg, menter, creadigrwydd a dyfalbarhad i daclo problemau cywrain yn llwyddiannus. Gyda dull beirniadol a sythweledol yn y broses ddylunio, mae fy nghryfderau wedi’u lleoli yn y cam creu cysyniad; pan ddechreuir gwireddu syniad arloesol syml. Dylunio i mi yw pryd y bydd gwrthrych materol yn cyfuno â phrofiad defnyddiwr byw. Fel dylunydd, rwy’n ceisio gwella bywydau trwy ddylunio pwrpasol.
